The Wonderful 101: Remastered’s Kickstarter campaign has been so successful, it’s smashed its $1.5 million (£1.16m) stretch goal, prompting Platinum Games to add even more goals.

Platinum Games exceeded its funding challenge for The Wonderful 101: Remastered less than four hours into its Kickstarter campaign, meaning it is now coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

As Matt described at the time, The Wonderful 101: Remastered sees Platinum’s 2013 Wii U oddity – “a vibrantly hued action-adventure in which players help an ever-expanding throng of morphing superheroes save the city” – getting the update treatment on modern platforms.

Now we’ll also get a “brand new 2D side-scrolling adventure” action spin-off game in which you’ll play as Luka.

“Luka is a boy who plays a very important role in The Wonderful 101: Remastered,” the Kickstarter campaign states. “Will Wedgewood, AKA Wonder-Red, is a teacher at Blossom City Elementary School when he isn’t fighting evil. Luka is one of the students in his class, and also one of the school’s biggest mischief-makers.
