UPDATE 12/1/23: Last night’s announcement that Sayonara Wild Hearts would be part of the PlayStation Plus game catalogue was a mistake, Sony has now said.
“Sayonara Wild Hearts was incorrectly announced as part of January Game Catalog lineup for PlayStation Plus,” the company wrote in an update to its blog post.
No reason was given for the error. The rest of the month’s upcoming game line-up remains as is, including Back 4 Blood, Devil May Cry 5 and Life is Strange. More on all that below.
ORIGINAL STORY 11/1/23:Sony has revealed the games heading to its PlayStation Plus catalogue this month for Premium and Extra tier subscribers, including Back 4 Blood, Life is Strange, Devil May Cry 5, and more.
Back 4 Blood is, of course, the co-op zombie shooter from Left 4 Dead studio Turtle Rock, which aims to give the genre of a bit of a twist through game-altering deck building. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, meanwhile, is Capcom’s well-regarded most recent chapter in the long-running demonic hack-and-slash series.
